Clean up spills promptly and avoid rubbing. Gently blot the stain with a clean white cloth. Use lukewarm water for wool rugs and avoid using water or liquid on Viscose and Tencel rugs. Rinse with clean water and use dry towels to absorb any remaining moisture.

  • Use canister vacuums without beater bars or gentle brooms.
  • Use the handheld attachment or turn off the beater bar for high-powered upright vacuums.
  • Avoid vacuuming over the edges and fringes.
  • If the rug is reversible, vacuum both sides and use the handheld attachment for the fringes.

How to Remove Folds & Curls

Your new area rug has arrived, but the corners are slightly curved due to packing. Do not worry! One option is to simply lay the rug out upside down for a couple of days to allow its fibers to relax and flatten naturally. If you can't wait to display your new floor art, place a heavy object, like a book or a piece of furniture, on each corner for a couple of days to smooth out the curves. Be careful not to trip over the objects, and soon your rug will be ready to impress visitors.
